With a checkout extension until 5 PM, we choreographed the apartment farewell, securing our belongings in sailor’s sacks, trusting Alex with our luggage. Boarding at 6 PM, we joined Cindy for delectable pizzas at Victory Restaurant, accompanied by the amusing duo Sheldon and Leonard. Amidst tales of marital diplomacy, we retired to the first night aboard Chao Lay, satiated and snug.
