After a night of modest sleep, a marina shower and breakfast set the tone for the day. We commenced with onboard safety checks before charting a passage plan northward to Bequia. I took the helm, unfortunately under motor due to feeble winds, practicing man overboard drills and savoring chicken soup for lunch. Despite attempting an afternoon nap, slumber remained elusive. Dinner featured shepherd’s pie and vegetables, culminating with the responsibility of steering the boat into the harbor in darkness.
The sunset and moonrise painted the sky with pure magic, casting an enchanting aura over our maritime journey.
